Detailed Design and Services during Construction for the East Side Gravity Trunk Sewer in the City of Kitchener.

 

The project consists of:

  • installation of 3.6km of 975mm diameter gravity sewer using a combination of microtunneling techniques and open cut excavation from the pipeline origin point (north of Freeport Creek) to the proposed Grand River crossing
  • a service bridge of approximately 500m crossing the Grand River and connecting to the Kitchener Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP)
  • a new connection into the Kitchener WWTP’s elevated influent channel
