Welcome to the Region of Waterloo Bid Opportunities Website

This site allows vendors to easily access open bid opportunities posted by the Region of Waterloo.

Any bid posted on the bids&tenders platform can be previewed at no cost. You will need to subscribe as a vendor and be registered as a plan taker to submit bids to the Region of Waterloo. There are two subscriptions available: an Unlimited Plan and a Pay-Per-Bid Plan.

After creating a bidding system vendor account with bids&tenders, you can select commodity codes for goods and services. The Bidding System will notify the Vendor by email of Bid opportunities that match your commodity code selection.

Bidders are solely responsible for ensuring their Vendor account information is kept current.

Effective June 30, 2023, the following price changes will be implemented for supplier plans:

• A new Pay-Per-Bid Plan cost of $125.75 CAD per bid 
• A new Unlimited Plan cost of $418.95 CAD per year
