Description: 

Identify consulting teams with the capability to execute the following:

  1. Conduct a comprehensive refresh of economic studies detailing the aviation, aerospace, and defence sector's impact in the Waterloo Region. (Note: For the purposes of this EOI, the scope of "defence" is defined specifically as encompassing aero-adjacent dual-use technologies, advanced manufacturing, and supply chain integration).
  2. Develop a strategic plan for the future of the AeroWR initiative, which includes developing a robust ecosystem strategy to support cluster growth.
  3. Analyze the local supply chain to identify actionable steps that will support trade and tariff-impacted businesses.
  4. Perform an opportunities assessment for YKF lands, focusing on clustering business development opportunities (including innovation, MRO, manufacturing, talent generation/training, and aviation companies). 
  5. Develop a robust ecosystem strategy to support the cluster's growth.
