The scope of work for this Contract comprises the supply of all labour, equipment, and materials necessary for the restoration cable concrete channel and inlet area located within the North Expansion Area (NEA) at the Waterloo Landfill Site. Preparation activities will include the installation of erosion and sediment control measures and protection fencing for site infrastructure. Removal activities include the removal of the existing rip-rap inlet, underlying geotextile, and cable concrete mats. Topsoil stripping and temporary stockpiling for reuse within the proposed regrading areas. Excavation, loading, and hauling of clayey soil from on-site stockpile location to work area for placement within the plateau depressions and scouring area. Installation of perforated subdrain, granular A subbase, and replacement of cable concrete mats. Final landscaping restoration including seed and erosion control blanket installation. The Work is to be undertaken in 2026. |
