Grand River Transit has implemented a number of measures to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, including procuring battery electric buses (BEBs). GRT has procured eleven (11) NovaBus LFSe BEBs that will be delivered to the Northfield Facility at 300 Northfield Drive East, Waterloo in February 2023.

The Region is looking for a Supplier to supply BEB charging six (6) 150-kW chargers (including equipment and associated software) that are compatible with the BEBs in delivery, corresponding with the February 2023 vehicle delivery timeframe. The Supplier will be expected to participate in kick-off and construction meetings, to deliver the System, and to provide their expertise on the chargers and software.
