This Request for Tender (RFT) is for supply and delivery of ice melt and softener salt products at various Waterloo Region and Waterloo Region Housing properties. The contract shall be for a period of one (1) term commencing November 15, 2019 and ending November 14, 2020, with an option to renew for four (4) additional one (1) term periods. *An important component of the ice melt portion of the contract is the monitoring of the Region's ice melt bins. Due to the remoteness and limited staff at several locations, it will be the responsibility of the contractor to determine when salt levels require replenishing (based on usage, weather, etc.).
