The Region of Waterloo (Region) has identified the need for upgrades at the Hespeler Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP). These upgrades include improvements to the wetwell, flocculation chamber, alum dosing system, secondary clarifiers, and refurbishment of the return activated sludge (RAS) header, and are intended to enhance operational flexibility and ensure the long-term reliability of the facility.
