Description: 

The purpose of this Request for Pre-Qualification (RFPQ) is to prequalify General Contractors with personnel trained in infection control for future calls for tender of general construction projects within Sunnyside Long Term Care Home and Supportive Housing. 

Qualified construction firms who provide general contracting services are invited to submit PRE-QUALIFICATION information for an upcoming procurement process for General Construction services for future tenders of the following scope: 

  • General construction projects requiring infection control protocols levels 3 and 4 as defined by CSA Z317.13-12
  • General construction projects estimated to be $50,001 - $300,000 to be awarded on the basis of a prequalified tender 

The first known applicable project is expected to commence January 2025 with a substantial completion date in April 2025.
