The work of this Contract includes improvements to King Street East (Regional Road No. 8) from Sportsworld Drive to Deer Ridge Drive, and along Sportsworld Drive (Regional Road No. 38) from King Street to Gateway Park Drive.
This Contract is the second stage of work for a larger Regional project that extends along King Street East from Highway #401 to the Grand River. Stage 1 – from Highway #401 to Sporstworld Drive was completed under Region Contract T2022-134. Stage 3 – from Deer Ridge Drive to the Grand River is tentatively planned for construction in 2028.
