The work generally consists of expanding the existing disinfection contact tank,
upgrading the existing portion of the contact tank including replacing existing stairs and
concrete refurbishment, construction of a sidewalk around the contact tank, installing
mechanical mixers in the contact tank, construction of a new Sample Building and
peracetic acid (PAA) tote storage facility, installing a PAA unloading pump skid,
construction of new catch basin, and instrumentation upgrades.
