This Request for Proposal (RFP) is for the winter maintenance services at the Grand River Transit Bus Stops. There are approximately 2389 bus stops throughout the Region broken down into three service areas. There will be three (3) areas to bid on. Area A, Area B, and Area C. A bidder may bid on one (1) or all three (3) of the areas. The Region intends to award contracts for all three Areas of this RFP. No Proponent may be awarded more than two (2) Areas. Accordingly, where contracts are awarded for all three Areas, awards will be made to a minimum of two (2) Proponents. Where a Proponent is the highest-ranked Proponent in all three Areas, the Region may award that Proponent up to two (2) Areas, as determined by the Region based on best overall value. The remaining Area may be awarded to the next highest-ranked eligible Proponent, provided the Region determines that doing so is in its best interests. The Region is under no obligation to make an award for any Area and reserves the right to make awards by Area, in whole or in part, and to otherwise proceed in accordance with the terms of this RFP. |
