The agreement for winter maintenance services at GRT bus stops includes the continuous availability and supply of the necessary equipment, materials and labour for the following work: · Bus stop patrolling for snow and ice control and for reporting other deficiencies to GRT. · Winter snow and ice control on asphalt, concrete and grass surfaces and · Direct Liquid Application (DLA) (beet juice or brine mixture) on asphalt and concrete surfaces for snow and ice control as required and · Supervisor and management of snow and ice control forces. · Restoration of damaged areas at and around bus stops by the contractor are – to be completed by May 15 (extension to June 1 if sod is not available by May 15). |
