It is the intent of this Request for Proposal to select one Vendor to supply the Region of Waterloo and the City of Hamilton with the General Medical Supplies listed in this document, therefore all items must be bid, no partial bids will be accepted. The contract will be awarded in its entirety to one vendor. Due to the vulnerability and needs of the population being served, items marked as NO SUBSTITUTE must be the same Manufacturer/Model as listed, No suggested alternatives will be accepted. The Region of Waterloo requires such a Program to enable Sunnyside Senior Services and Public Health to purchase products and/or services to ensure the continuity of the daily operations. The Program must meet the administrative requirements of the Region of Waterloo facilities. The program should offer a minimum risk to the Region of Waterloo and an assured, reliable source of supply for these products and services. |
