The Region of Waterloo (Region) has identified the need for a new Grand River Transit (GRT) bus station at Conestoga College Doon Campus within the existing Parking Lot 5. 

The project includes construction of nine new bus bays with a transit-only entrance and exit off of Doon Valley Drive, canopies and shelters including on-demand heating and scheduling displays, covered bike parking, a bus driver’s building (165 sq. m) including water and sanitary services and a mechanical and electrical room, a multi-use trail connection to Doon Valley Drive, benches and landscaping, underground conduit for future electric bus charging stations, repaving and repainting the adjacent parking lot, and electrical and communications equipment.
